All-Service Jacket (ASJ) Tape

The all-purpose, or all-service, jacket is a type of high performance insulation adhesive backed material.  All service jackets create a vapor barrier with their lamination of PE coated kraft paper, fiberglass cloth (skrim) and either aluminum foil or metalized film.

All service jackets are coated with an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive, and are great for creating a vapor seal on ASJ faced duct boards.  All service jackets are also used as a corrosion preventative on pipelines, piping used in the construction industry, and in HVAC applications.  Adhesive backed all service jacket material can also provide insulation and energy savings, and can withstand a wide range of temperatures and demanding weather conditions.
