GENERAL INFORMATION

52020 is a 20 mil, double coated polyethylene foam for mounting photopolymer plates in wide-web film and paper flexoprinting. Due to its medium density, closed-cell foam is particularly suited for high-quality combination printing on steel cylinders. The closed-cell PE foam with high recovery rate provides excellent resiliency even during long print runs. This ensures outstanding, consistent print quality throughout the printing process. It is manufactured with a unique adhesive system which remains stable over time, allowing secure mounting, easy re-positioning and simple de-mounting. The Softprint polypropylene liner embosses the adhesive providing excellent handling characteristics while mounting and also during the air-bubble release process. Blue tesa logo imprint makes for easy identification, even after mounting.
