GENERAL INFORMATION
52916 is especially designed for mounting thin photopolymer plates on foam coated sleeves. It is a double coated tape with extremely different adhesion values on both sides. The unwind side has to be applied to the open cell surface of the sleeve. The high adhesion ensures a secure bond. The liner side adhesion guarantees that the plates can be removed easily. During the printing process the thin polyester film backing ensures a very good compressibility of the foam coating of the sleeve. In combination with the usage of thin plates an excellent printing result can be achieved.
