GENERAL INFORMATION
IM1940 is an 1/8" white closed cell polyethylene foam coated on both sides with an aggressive, general purpose, rubber based adhesive. The product is supplied self-wound on a densified, semi-bleached kraft release liner. IM1940 was developed for general purpose bonding applications and the adhesive bonds to most surfaces including low energy materials such as polyethylene and polypropylene. The 1/8" foam carrier provides a gap filling function that aids in the joining of uneven or irregular surfaces.
