GENERAL INFORMATION
IM2908 is a 36 mil, or 1/32" black, closed cell polethylene foam coated on both sides with a high performance, modified acrylic adhesive. It provides the excellent temperature properties, holding power and chemical resistance exhibited by acrylic adhesives plus the strength of a cross-linked polyethylene foam. The 1/32" foam carrier offers a gap-filling function that aids in the joining of uneven or irregular surfaces. The polyfilm liner is moisture resistant and provides very good tear resistance.
