GENERAL INFORMATION
IB1183/IB1171 is a 3.4 mil, double coated polyester film coated on both sides with a general purpose, rubber based pressure sensitive adhesive. It was designed for general purpose bonding applications such as in the gasket, seal and trim markets. Typically used for bonding to foams, felts, cloths, primed wood, paper, metal, plastics and most low or unplasticized substrates. It has an excellent balance of economy versus performance and can be used in many applications as an aid to assembly. The polyester carrier provides dimensional stability and superior die cutting properties. IB1171 is a 60" wide web product of the same material.
