GENERAL INFORMATION
539 is a 7.3 mil, medium grade flatback tape designed for various sealing and splicing jobs. It has low curl characteristics and is very conformable. Aggressive natural / synthetic rubber adhesive is designed to offer a positive, attractive seal and excellent adhesion to minimize carton sealing failures and prevent pilferage. #539 is designed for use in applications where reduced weight can provide packaging material savings. Product is not repulpable. It is used in carton sealing, packaging, silk screening, picture framing, beamingIleasing, splicing, and tabbing.
