GENERAL INFORMATION
490 is a 5.25 mil, heat activated, aluminum foil tape. Ideal Seal™ is a laminate of foil, 4X4 fiberglass scrim and a heat activated surlyn® adhesive. It is manufactured and printed to comply with UL181A-H performance and identification requirements. Engineered for use with fiber glass ductboard systems used on all joints to assure the vapor barrier.
