GENERAL INFORMATION
815-2 is a 4 mil, extruded, virgin PEEK (polyethereketone) film has been surface modified on one side and coated with a silicone adhesive system. The silicone adhesive is resistant to harsh chemical environments while retaining good peel strength with clean removal. The PEEK film offers an excellent combination of friction and wear properties with high heat resistance and good electrical insulation. Typical applications for the this tape include sliding bearing, abrasion resistant wire wraps and oil field equipment requiring abrasion resistance and electrical insulation.
