GENERAL INFORMATION
466 is a 4 mil, closely woven glass fabric and high temperature silicone adhesive. The glass fabric has excellent abrasion resistance and high strength. This tape is used primarily in electrical applications including splicing and positioning in coils and support rings, reinforcing slot insulation and armature coil insulation. It is also used in high temperature applications such as transformers, solenoids and appliances.
