GENERAL INFORMATION
| 3M764 is a general purpose vinyl tape for use in non-critical applications such as color coding, bundling and safety marking, etc. While vinyl tapes resist more common solvents, care should be taken to avoid ketones, chlorinated hydrocarbons and esters found in lacquets, thinners, degreasers, paint strippers, etc., which may cause the backing to swell or curl. Best results are attained when applied to a clean, dry surface at temperatures between 60°F to 80°F. To obtain best performance, use this product within 12 months from date of manufacture and store under normal conditions of 60°F to 80°F and 40% to 60% relative humidity in the original carton. |
