GENERAL INFORMATION

3M masking tape 231 is a 6.1mil high performance, smooth mini-crepe paper masking, designed to perform well in most industrial painting situations, including bake cycles. This superior masking tape is designed specifically for the professional painter. It is perfectly balanced to give outstanding masking results. Can be used at bake temperatures up to 250°F for one hour and removes from most surfaces without adhesive transfer. 3M 231 masking tape is recommended for all critical color separation paint masking operations. It has best-in-class holding power for critical paint lines and clean removal on high valued products or processes.
