  Budnick Converting is a privately held and female owned corporation.  We inventory and convert adhesive coated tapes and foams from every major manufacturer. Slitting, die-cutting, printing, laminating, adhesive coating, waterjet and in-line laser  cutting services allow us to customize material to your particular application.  Budnick also serves as a job shop by contracting out slitting and cutting services when you supply us with your  foams, films, foils, paper and other specialty materials.

     Ed "Bud" Schwartz and Nick Cutlich founded Budnick Supply in 1952.  The company began as a distributor of tools and accessories.  The product line grew to include janitorial supplies and adhesive tapes. 

     In 1982, Bud's daughter Ann Wegmann and her husband Mark Wegmann took over operations of the company.  In 1986, they purchased our first lathe slitter to cut log rolls of adhesive tape and quickly created a niche market in specialty converting adhesive tape products.  To more accurately portray the metamorphosis of Budnick into a specialty converter of tapes and flexible materials, we changed our name to Budnick Converting, Inc. 

     Today, our primary focus is specialty converting of adhesive coated tapes and foams.  Budnick remains on the leading edge of adhesive tape converting technology.  We currently utilize 33 cutting, slitting, laminating, printing and spooling machines to convert materials into labor saving customized parts.   As demonstrated by continually investing in state-of-the-art machinery, we are committed to increasing our capabilities and converting capacity.

     Budnick Converting, Inc. is headquartered in Columbia, IL. Columbia is in the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area.  The majority of our inventory and manufacturing comes from the Columbia facility.  We have a second converting facility in Tampa, FL and a warehouse in Oklahoma City, OK. Budnick has sales locations in St. Louis, MO; Kansas City, MO; Chattanooga, TN; Oklahoma City, OK and Tampa, FL. However, our business consultants visit manufacturing facilities  throughout most of North America. Our goal is to solve your adhesive problems and engineer the process of applying your tape in the most efficient manner.
